What is Buon Ricordo?
Since 1964, Italy's Unione Ristoranti del Buon Ricordo (Union of Restaurants of Good Memory) has honored regional Italian cuisine through a unique tradition: diners at participating restaurants received hand-painted commemorative plates featuring the restaurant's signature dish. Each plate was crafted in Vietri sul Mare on the Amalfi Coast, the heart of Italian ceramic artistry.
These vintage plates (1970s-1990s) are authentic pieces from this beloved tradition — not reproductions.
