The Autogrill Novara became a beloved destination for travelers seeking refined Piedmontese cuisine on their journey through northwestern Italy. This commemorative plate captures that culinary tradition with an absolutely charming illustration featuring a whimsical stylized ox with curved horns, expressive yellow eyes, and a beautifully patterned grey body topped with a playful orange tail. Below, on a rustic shelf, the ingredients for piccata are artfully arranged: tender veal cutlets, fresh carrots and leafy greens, a traditional wicker-wrapped fiasco, white pitcher, and aromatic herbs.
